PopUP Control...The Pitch...The Internet is the next frontier for advertisers, that and the space station. Web sites routinely present you with advertisements for their or their sponsor/affiliate sites using either popup windows or by starting another browser. It's become a cyber-epidemic, and it's only going to get worse. Our competition believes they have the solution: create a list of all those darn popup windows, and the next time you encounter them their software will stop the popups. Not bad, but that's a helluva big list you have to make! Oops, excuse me, some of our competition will actually supply you with a starter list; others will even update it for you--cool, eh! Now give your head a shake, and listen carefully...PopUP Control stops ALL UNWANTED POPUP WINDOWS. Let me rephrase this: if you click a hyperlink, an image, or a button, and a popup window or new browser appears--then you clicked it, you asked for it, and you got it...BUT ANYTHING ELSE is gonzo! There are no lists for you to make.More importantly, there are no lists for us to make, thank goodness. The PopUP Control software is so smart, so intelligent--or just a heck of a good guesser--that it figures it all out for you, because isn't that what software is supposed to do?
