Flickr Upcoming.org event details is a Greasemonkey script for Firefox that will show details of the upcoming.org event a photo is attached to. This is based on the new tagging notation introduced this week by flickr and upcoming.org [1]: if the photo does not have an upcoming tag, a select box will show your upcoming.org’s past events so you can associate the photo to an event, if the photo is tagged with an upcoming tag (of the form upcoming:event=XXXX), informations about the events are displayed. If you can tag the shot, you can transfer (with the small +) the info as a tag of your shot. _If the venue has been geo located by upcoming, you can geotag the photo directly without going through the map interface. Whats New in This Release: Fixed a few bugs: - the event selection menu doesn’t appear on the stream page as it was doing before - the script also works with copyrighted photos, I had only tested with CC and never saw there was a bug thereclin doeuil Now uses the updates to the API to: - show only your past events in the selection menu - display the country and state of the metro.
