SynthFont is a new tool that works to play and render MIDI sound files, using SoundFonts and other similar sound fonts. The result can be played via a sound card, or written to Wave files. The principle sound fonts the program uses are SoundFont, but it also uses Wave, DLS and GIGA, or VST instruments.SynthFont has support for both VST effects and instruments. It also includes some basic SoundFont editing abilites, and also shows the MIDI file information on an interface that`s similar to a piano, and an events list.
