When a file is deleted, it is not completely removed from the hard disk so it is actually possible for somebody to recover these files using file recovery programs. Shredder is a freeware program, with a very easy-to-use interface, that lets you simply select files and shred them. The files once shredded, even if recovered will not show the original contents. Attractive Matrix type Green interface. Due to a problem with file hosting this program may not be downloadable from the author's site for a couple of days. 6 August 2007.
