MailAlert Notifier is a free POP3 mail notifier that will alert you by playing a sound and displaying an icon in the taskbar when you receive new mails in your mailbox. It can be configured to periodically check for new mails after a fixed time like 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 30 minutes. MailAlert is a tiny, basic email notifier, if you don't need/want a huge does-everything program this one will be perfect!
