PortICE works as a firewall, that makes sure that no ports is being used by any type of attacks.

As many of todays trojans, such as Back Orifice known as BO, and Netbus and many others, uses your computer ports to make other users known as hackers, to connect, and takeover your computer and also to read and get any information you store in your computer.
PortICE will stop these trojans from working, and so you will have a safe, trojan free computer.
