Designed to save the Exchange administrator time, money and headaches, Quest Recovery Manager for Exchange allows individual, message-level items, including email messages, appointments, tasks, contacts, and attachments to be found and restored from regular Exchange backups and un-mounted .edb information stores. The Exchange Administrator can eliminate the very time-intensive and expensive process of creating message-level (or brick-level) backups and restoring backups to a recovery server. Business-critical items can be found and restored in a few short minutes l aiding the rest of the business, including individuals email users, the HR and legal departments for auditing and compliance regulation, and other management groups.
