A simple and extremely fast XML parser for Python 2 and 3 written in pure C with no external module dependencies. It parses XML files and returns a simple Python object (recursive tuples with lists for children and a dict for the attribute). It currently outperforms all major XML parsers I could test so far. It was tested and developed under Linux 64bit, but it should work on Windows and Mac OS X, too.
