Blogger Web Comments 2 is a Firefox extension inspired on the discontinued Blogger Web Comments or Google Web Comments, this add-on was made from scratch. Includes : author & title display, mouse scrolling, notifier dragging, twitter and more.<br /><br />By right clicking the icon on the status bar . . . you can select the preferred language to display the comments. . the web services to use . .and there is also an option to completely disabled the add-on.<br /><br />By left click to the icon . . you will toggle the panel (show/hide) and comment retrievals will still run in background. You will receive a notification when a comment is found with an alert into the icon.<br /><br />With middle click you will toggle the extension status (enabled/disabled).<br /><br />Talking about the panel, now shows author and title of the blog posts. By holding a few moments over the header you will be able to drag the panel to another place. ( The behaviour is a little strange )<br />and by scrolling with the mouse wheel over the post, you will switch of post without opening the panel.<br /><br />By default it will sent every visited URL to the selected services ( NOT including secures URLs these with "HTTPS://", NOT including private sites of the type http://localhost/ and private IPs.<br />All the results are cached for a maximum of 10 minutes.<br /><br />Supports private browsing Firefox feature.<br /><br />Feature for posting to blogger was omitted and not will be incorporated never.<br />The add-on was made from scratch and no piece of code from the old one discontinued were used.
