Gweled 0.9.1

Gweled is a Gnome version of a popular PalmOS/Windows/Java game called "Bejeweled" or "Diamond Mine". The aim of the game is to make alignment of 3 or more gems, both vertically or horizontally by swapping adjacent gems. The game ends when there are no possible moves left.<br /><br />Features:<br /> * exact same gameplay as the commercial versions<br /> * SVG original graphics<br /> * smooth animations (well not always smooth :-)<br /><br />News:<br /> * 0.7 (final):<br /> ----<br /> Yes, 0.7 is the last release, at least for the foreseeable future.<br /> Update: One week later, I kind of changed my mind on that :) Stay tuned !<br /> Here's the deal: I always was a lousy maintainer for Gweled. I had no time for this in the first place and it's even worse now :-)<br /> It was written so long ago I can't even do a proper change list. Off the top of my head:<br /> - Remember config in a config file<br /> - Music (Autonomus by Skaven, this mod was used in the original Bejeweled)<br /> - Sound (pathetic wav found on the internet)<br /> - debug patch for GCC4 (Adrian Reber)<br /> - Fix for the timed game (reported by Sebastien Loss, fixed by Neil Moore)<br /> - Hiscore improvements (pops up when you enter highscore list) (Sean C. Nichols)<br /> - There's one bug remaining that I can think of: I had no time to get rid of the broken and soon deprecated gnome-score library. So highscores might work... or not ! YMMV
