InTml (Interaction Techniques Markup Language) is an architecture, a language, and a set of tools that allow developers to create applications that use novel input and output devices. We have proposed a library for the development of interaction techniques that is independent from traditional programming languages. It allows the description of VR applications as a data??A*a*sow of components that represent devices, content, and behavior. Basically, an InTml application is a set of components connected between them. Such components are called ??A*??lters, which may represent devices, content, or behavior in an application. There is a library of available ??A*??lter classes, and it is possible to add new classes to the system.
