PyEphem provides scientific-grade astronomical computations for the Python programming language. PyEphem project provides scientific-grade astronomical computations for the Python programming language. Given an arbitrary date and location on Earth, it can compute the positions of the sun, moon, and planets as well as any asteroids, comets, or earth satellites whose orbital elements the user can provide.
