INTrafficLightsDisabler 1.0

This is an implementation of an idea by Tyler Murphy (@crosseyedtyler) to disable the traffic lights on windows in Mac OS X. It???*a*?s more of a UX experiment than anything: how often do Mac users really use the traffic lights to close/minimize/maximize windows? They???*a*?re such a small UI component that no one has ever bothered to analyze or experiment with them. Until now, that is.<br /><br />In my case, the only button out of the set that I ever use is the close button. The minimize button really doesn???*a*?t have much of a use considering Command+H can easily be used to hide all the windows of an app, and because minimizing windows can clog up the Dock really fast. The maximize/zoom button often has odd behaviour varying from app to app, and usually doesn???*a*?t end up being very useful. And to top it all off, all 3 buttons have keyboard shortcuts that are much more convenient than having to click the buttons themselves.<br /><br />The Code<br /><br />To disable traffic lights throughout the OS, the code must be individually injected into each and every app on the system. Apple has a system called InputManager
