CocoDonkey is a native Cocoa client for the mldonkey daemon. It is simple but it provides the useful features and it is meant to be extended. This program is free and delivered under the LGPL license.<br /><br />The provided functionalities are the following:<br /> * Displays the currently requested files and the progress of the download<br /> * Displays the download rate (detailed and total) and the remaining time<br /> * Displays stats on the download capabilities (ie chunks availability)<br /> * Allows to commit a download<br /> * Allows to stop, resume or cancel a upload<br /> * Allows basic searches (on one or several words)<br /> * Remembers the old searches<br /> * Automatic launch and stop of the local daemon<br /> * Access to the server list<br /> * Basic preview of the downloading file (with mplayer if available, QTPlayer otherwise))<br /> * Preferences<br /> * Stats on the uploads<br /> * Requests for a ed2k-link<br /> * New icons (thank to Silver Surfer)<br /> * Automatic conversion from AVI format to Quicktime MOV format (thanks to Avi2Mov which is included)<br /> * Connection through an SSH tunnel to a remote host<br /> * Automatic connection to the local daemon<br /> * All the windows are multithreaded<br /> * NB: As the handled files are often very big, the RAM requirements can be enormous resulting to a big general slow down of the machine on some of the operations (adding or removing a file in the download list)<br /> * Advanced search options
