Centipede 1.0

There is an infinite amount of levels. To progress, you must kill the centipede. The centipede is made up of 10 segments. These 10 segments will move across the screen as if connected. When they hit a wall or mushroom, they will drop down the screen one level and change direction. If you shoot a segment, along with it dissappearing, a mushroom will appear in its place. This can cause the centipede to break up, resulting in 2 smaller centipedes moving across the screen.<br /><br />The mushrooms are obstacles to your shots as well. If one of your shots hits a mushroom, your shot stops. However, the mushroom will shrink. Three hits will destroy the mushroom. Thus, you may clear out a path.<br /><br />To proceed to the next level, you must destroy all 10 segments. Once this has been done, the level change will be signified by the change of mushroom color.<br /><br />The other details depend on which version you choose. Those details are discussed below.
