FGSourceList is a powerful and flexible REALbasic control that enables you to add a gorgeous sidebar to your applications.<br />It's for everyone<br /><br />The FGSourceList control has been designed from the ground-up to be easy to use. It's based on the built-in REALbasic listbox class to facilitate its easy addition to your projects. It's comprised of just two classes, requires no third-party plugins, works in Mac and Windows applications and can be used with any version of REALbasic (Personal, Professional or Enterprise).<br />New and improved<br /><br />The FGSourceList control replaces our previous sidebar control, the AppleListbox. FGSourceList is a complete rewrite and offers lots more functionality. It's now virtually indistinguishable from the sidebars you'll see in native Apple applications (it follows Apple's human interface guidelines like a religion) and is much more customisable.<br />Check out these features<br /><br /> * Hierarchical structure. Manage multiple levels of items in your source list with full support for hiding & collapsing sections and items.<br /> * New items. Do you like the way that Apple Mail tells you how many new items are in your inbox? If so, FGSourceList provides this functionality right out of the box. You can even specify what colour the badge should be.<br /> * Buttons galore. You can add a custom button or icon to an item that sends events on user clicks. It'll even change it's icon as the user hovers over if you'd like. On Macs, a separately supported eject button can also be added.<br /> * Multiple styles. Not all source lists were created equal and that's why FGSourceList supports three different styles: Apple Finder, Mail and the new iTunes 10 look with show / hide buttons for sections.<br /> * Drag reordering. Want to rearrange items in the source list? No worries. FGSourceList handles the reordering of items for you and provides ways for you to restrain what can and cannot be reordered.<br /> * Smart resizing.
