This module allows comment moderators (with the correct permissions) to submit comment spammer's IP addresses to the system firewall on a Linux server that runs the fail2ban automatic firewalling service.It does this by writing to a message to the system syslog service in a predefined format, which is parsed by the system fail2ban service.The module allows site administrators to define the log format and priority as well as a whitelist of IP and network addresses.
