Mallard CMS is an extendable Content management System that combines ease of use for the end-user with a nice and open plugin platform.It's easy to edit your content.All the content on your webpage is displayed as pages. Each page has it's own unique url that you can specify yourself. The content on the page is edited with the well known FCK editor which gives you a nice word-like workspace.Create navigation easily.You have full control over the page navigation. You can create any number of menus and use them wherever you want. Every menu can have an infinite number of submenus connected to a specific page.Advanced groups and rights system.All parts of the system can be given access to using the groups and rights system. You can have multiple users belonging to different groups with different rights to alter things on the site. You could for instance have one group that's only allowed to edit pages and another group responsible for the navigation of the site.Easy templating.It is easy to create your own template if you know html. Mallard CMS uses the smarty templating engine to render it's templates. Just copy the default look and change the html code!A nice plugin platform.Develop your own plugins to add extended functionality to your CMS. Mallard CMS comes with a PHP framework named structPHP which makes it easy to develop php applications, but if you like you can build everything from scratch.Totaly free.Mallard CMS is licenced under the GPL licence and is free to use and make copies of. This gives you the freedom to install the CMS yourself, or hire whomever you like to do it for you.
