A collection of functions is presentedwhich includes 2nd generation waveletdecomposition and reconstruction toolsfor images as well as functions for thecomputation of moment invariants.The wavelet schemes rely on the liftingscheme of Sweldens. Rectangular gridsare split into quincunx grids, alsoknown as red-black ordering.The prediction filters include Nevillefilters as well as a few nonlinearones fairly capable of preserving localmaxima or minima.The decomposition and reconstructionfunctions are called in the style ofthe Matlab Wavelet Toolbox.Many small and a few elaborate exampleshave been included, ranging from thecomputation of moment invariants tomultiresolution image fusion.
