SIAMS S3D is a three-dimensional virtual constructor, which main task is to
compose structures. SIAMS S3D composes structures from 3D geometrical objects:
dots, lines, planes, spheres, tetrahedrons, polyhedrons and their mixtures.
SIAMS S3D was designed first as a scientific oriented program. It was intended
to reproduce structure of green powders, grain structure and pore structure of
powder compacts. SIAMS S3D initially relies on the approaches of Distinct
Element Method, Granular Media theory and 3D analytical geometry. SIAMS S3D
will be useful for the researches and practicians, mathematicians and physicists,
tutors and students and even artists and designers.

SIAMS S3D requires the interests of mathematicians and physicists involved
in the problems of precise definition of random close packings (RCP). The
current picture of RCP cannot be made mathematically precise so the computer
algorithms are the sort of solution. SIAMS S3D computer algorithms can be
used to generate and study idealized random packings. SIAMS S3D provides
the "close packed" state of RCP by packing iteself and by forming fractail
structures.
