Simple password protection for your admin dir is a very easy way to secure your admin map. First satrt to backup your website In ".htaccsess" change:"Text" to "Your text" (the "" have to be there)And thenchange /path/to/password/libery/htpasswd to the path to your htpasswd fileex: /home/web/web12345/catalog/pass/htpasswd(You can't put the files into your real admin libery because there already is a file called .htaccess so you have to make a new dir ex. "pass" and then put the 2 password files into it and in the dir you just have maked (pass) you can put your admin dir.)
