Programul PaneCutter este destinat pentru generarea automata a planului de debitare, pentru fabricanti de mobila sau alte prodse din material rectangular (PAL, placi de metal, sticla, etc.), al caror gama de productie este larga sau se schimba permanent. Multumit algoritmului sofisticat, recursiv, PaneCutter gaseste planul optim de debitare cu o pierdere minima posibila. Ofera mai multe solutii, intotdeauna sortata astfel incat solutia cea mai optima sa fie prima, oferindusi posibilitatea utilizatorului ca sa aleaga o alta varianta. PaneCutter este un program foarte usor de folosit. Pe fereastra principala, utilizatorul poate seta lungimea si latimea placii de debitat, si lungimea si latimea fiecarei piese dorite. Aceste informatii poat fi salvate si reluate ulterior pentru o eventuala revizuire. Lista partilor individuale nu trebuie salvate pentru efectuarea procesului de optimalizare. In cazul unor materiale (ex. sticla) nu conteaza care este lungimea si care latimea partilor individuale. In aceste cazuri pentru o solutie mai optima, utilizatorul poate folosi optiunea “Rotarea partilor acceptat”. Dupa introducerea dimensiunilor partilor individuale, trebuie apasat butonul “Calculare”, pentru pornirea procesului de optimalizare. Durata acestui proces, depinde de viteza calculatorului, precum si de numarul de piese individuale. Utilizatorul are posibilitatea de a alege dintre solutiile oferite pentru vizualizare (intotdeauna prima este recomandata). Fiecare placa, cu planul optim de debitare poate fi vizualizata pe ecran si la cerere poate fi si tiparita.
