NavTools Lite is intended as a backup to existing GPS Navigation systems on yachts and merchant shipping.
The software will allow you to plan and execute an ocean crossing using only a sextant to observe stars, planets, moon and sun. Using its own internal almanac tables NavTools Lite will calculate your true position, course and speed and all other information required to reach your destination.
NavTools Lite requires minimal knowledge of Astro Navigation to calculate a position from a sextant observation.
You can try this software for 60 days, whereafter a registration key will be required.
