The latest version of Alessandro Blasi’s famous CONTASCATTI Desktop Phone Meter program.
This freeware program – which requires online registration and activation for purely statistical purposes - monitors and displays PTSN, IDSN and ADSL internet connection charges on your computer desktop in realtime and stores all charge details in a log file for consultation.
Contascatti Euro 2003 includes important new functions, improved graphics, new skins (thanks to third party collaborators) and faster activation of phone meter monitor on connection to Internet. The phone charge rates set-up and configuration section enables the user to associate specific rates with individual servers.
An additional features of this new version of Contascatti is an experimental ANTI-DIALER FUNCTION (only to italian numbers) which should block all unwanted and, above all, expensive, internet connections before they can cause any damage (to your wallet). This new function is configured only for known Italian dialers and no guarantee is given or implied regarding its effectiveness - the best form of protection against dialers will always be to request you phone company to disable access from your phone to all suspect numbers.

All earlier versions of Contascatti, CS2000, 2001 and 2002, should be removed before installing the new program
