The program has been designed as universal application for security hybrid platforms working simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal look and functionality on the local and distant pcs. Users view MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the software using net that surveillance station can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular configuration considerably boosts reliability because all units act as independent software. If one unit freezes, other parts keep on running. For instance if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture using a `playback` module. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by motion, human face recognition, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant server via Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
