The software has been designed as universal product for security cross platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar appearance and functionality on the local and remote computers. Customers see MPEG coded picture and have complete management of the software via net that surveillance workstation can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure considerably increases reliability because all parts work as independent applications. If one module stops working, other parts go on running. For example if the `record` part stops working, `watchdog` starts over it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` unit. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by movement, human face recognition, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on remote server using Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
