The program has been created as general program for security hybrid platforms running simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the identical form and controls on the local and apart workstations. Users watch MPEG coded video and have complete management of the software via net that security server can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure considerably increases reliability because all parts proceed as independent software. If one part fails, other parts go on working. For instance if the `capture` module fails, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video via a `playback` unit. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant station through Web interface. The software makes synchronized video playback for event examination from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
