The program has been created as general software for security hybrid platforms running at the same time with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal look and functionality on the local and distant pcs. Users view MPEG coded video and have complete control of the program via net that security computer can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure extensively improves reliability because all parts proceed as independent programs. If one module stops working, other components go on working. For instance if the `record` part stops working, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` module. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by movement, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on apart server through Web interface. The software performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
