PFTrack 4.0

PFTrack — With over 100 improvements to core tools, user interface, file handling and workflow, version 4.0 continues with the innovation users have seen in earlier releases. PFTrack, the most advanced camera tracking and visual effects assist application available, now reaches new heights of operability with many additional features including; improvements to geometry tracking, non-destructive extension of a tracked sequence, a new focal length estimation tool, graph based editing of Tracking, Projection and Camera errors, improvements to motion capture and also support for the Cooke i/Data hardware directly from the lens encoders.PFTrackls unique approach to solving everyday post-production problems has seen its adoption in many very demanding facilities. As the first application to use geometry as a means of extracting motion data it has often been able to provide a solution where everything else has failed.PFTrack 4.0 is also the first application to support Cooke i/Data. New Cooke camera lenses have encoders that transmit key lens data to a recorder. This data can now be used directly inside PFTrack, which eliminates guesswork in areas such as Focal Length and F Stop.
