Mindforge Fractions is a program that introduces young students (ages 4-9years) to basic fraction concepts. Fractionsare brought to life with animation, music,sound effects and a cast of 3D characterscalled Instructrons. Students can choosetheir favorite Instructron to teach themabout fractions. The software invisiblyanalyzes the students' answers to practiceproblems, offers corrective feedback, andthen provides new problems based on the student's performance. This intelligentdrill-and-practice feature of the software ensures that each child receives sufficientlychallenging problems to solve. MindforgeFractions comes complete with integratedworksheets to provide additional practiceand help students transfer their knowledgeinto the world of the classroom or home.
