This project imitates the upcoming birthday notifications as you find in Orkut. This, however, works offline and displays the notifications when you login to a terminal. Once you login to a character-based terminal in your UNIX/Linux system, you can view those notifications. A flat text file is used to store the event dates and messages to be displayed in the notification.<br />
