Stepper Motor ToolBox gather several funtion to create velocity profiles and render simulations using stepper motor dinamics. The stepper model was developed in simulink and solved using ODEs.

This script can be used to control motors connected to Roboteq motor controller. Right now the code is for controllers which are accessed over a local tcp/ip network. Replace the ip address with yours. That should be enough to run the motors.
