You can use it in a fairly straight forward way to make tracks with, or get very experimental. Audio or control data can be freely passed between the plugins. Data can also be fed back on itself for creating chaotic effects. SSM supports LADSPA plugins, which you can use in the same way as any of the native plugins. The JACK audio server is also supported. SSM is a collaborative open source project, see the AUTHORS file for an extensive list of contributors. This project is released under the terms and restrictions of the GPL license. This file contains all the setup variables for the program. Thes values can be edited with the options window whilst running SSM. The following variables in the are the ones to play with to get a good playback on your machine. This is usually tradeoff between quality and responsiveness (latency). You can build designs and songs at low quality (22050 samplerate etc) and then record them at higher settings. The wav file will sound fine, even if the realtime output doesnt.
