dhcptool is a small application which manages and configures a DHCP server. Building: To build this you need a C compiler (i used gcc 2.95-3), and some luck. Just type make, im working on autoconf and automake but is not finished yet. Running: For some reason in some circumstances you have to add the following to your route table: route add -host 255.255.255.255 dev eth0 That is needed to allow the distribution of packets to the address 255.255.255.255 (as said in RFC 1531).
