Using P2P file-sharing software such as LimeWire, FrostWire, Shareaza, or Ares Galaxy to share music, movies, or software, can expose you to identity theft and lawsuits. ZapShares scans and monitors your computer, identifying potential security threats caused by file-sharing software installed on your computer that can cause the unintentional sharing of bank account details, passwords, tax returns, and other private information that can lead to identity theft. ZapShares also creates a secure vault by using temporary download folders that are automatically used by your file-sharing software while downloading is in progress, and then moving the completed downloads to a final secure folder that is not shared over P2P networks, protecting you against lawsuits by copyright holders.

Excellent Software! I ran ZapShares only to find that I have been sharing my tax returns and other private information over LimeWire. I also had no idea that sharing music can get a person sued. Good thing I ran ZapShares! The problem with the tax returns is fixed and now I'm not worried about being sued by those music companies. Read two recent stories about the lawsuits and was freaked out until now. Makes me feel much better having ZapShares installed to protect me. Thanks guys for the software!
