Video Caster is free software that allows you to create, manage, encode and share your audio-visual media online. It allows you to record audio at different sample rates and sound qualities, create video footage by using a web cam or by capturing full or partial sections of screens. It even lets you combine your pictures and create an audio-visual multimedia presentation! The Encoder helps you to convert your media files into windows streaming format so that they can be viewed online. You may then use the Media Publisher to publish your encoded media files on to our streaming server and distribute the media links to your friends. Your friends may then stream your media files and view them directly from your video desk account / your website. Create a list of your business or personal contacts and use the Address Book to send the links to your media files, to your friends. You may even retrieve email addresses stored in your address book in Microsoft Outlook! The process conveniently eliminates all technical know-how and makes video sharing a simple and easy process. Video Caster works with an on-line service called Video Desk, which provides you with storage space to host your media. It also lets you monitor complete viewer statistics. Video Caster and Video Desk let you store, manage and share your entire library of audio and video files online. It provides you with the concept of a Media folder that helps you manage your media files on your local hard disk and allows you to view, rename, search or delete them. You can generate detailed account statistics on who is viewing your media files online, number of hits, bandwidth utilized, and a lot more. Video Caster works with Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Video Caster along with Video Desk makes video sharing easier and simpler with complete streaming and video hosting services for you
