Defender of the Crown is nothing less than one of the pioneers in turn-taking strategy games. On this occasion we present a renovated version, updated and better, but one that keeps all the elements, essence and taste of the great classics.The mission and objective of the game are simple: unite the whole of Great Britain under one king. For this you have as your only weapons the army (that you have to create, manage and distribute) and your strategic abilities. Don`t lose sight of important aspects like financing (working directly with Robin Hood), knightly tournaments, diplomacy and your popularity as king among your subjects.The principle campaigns (that conduct the thread of the story) are filled with minigames and entertaining submissions, or by obtaining certain cards to gain certain advantages each turn, in the style of the popular Risk board game. And don`t forget the excellent soundtrack, full of sweet tunes from Medieval Britain.
