Lightsmark is an ambitious application, of a high level, designed to measure the efficiency of your PC while it works with advanced 3D graphics engines, especially with respect to illumination. There+s no point in having a really powerful computer to render an enormous number of polygons in an object, if you aren+t able to correctly light them. Lightsmark takes on this work and lets you know if your machine can handle the job of illuminating global 3D objects in real time.Lightsmark isn+t limited to small objects or scenes but can also work on enormous scenes (up to 220000 triangles)in high resolution (1680x1050 pixels) at high speed (100 - 400 fps) regardless of the geometric difficulty. Extreme conditions is where it works best. Can your PC cope with this titanic effort?
