A text editor which was only designed to replace original Windows95 Notepad. It is small and simple. It has several useful features: open multiple documents, fonts management for display and printer, page setup, search and replace etc. NewPad remembers settings (fonts, windows size and positions) since last session. It does not provide any splash screens, help menus (all necessary help topics are displayed in a status bar) and standard tool bar. No special installation required. Note: NewPad was written as a one-off, one-version, Windows program for Win95, it has never been updated but it does run on later versions of Windows
