The Z47 Processor is a Self-Contained Distributed Operating System (SCD-OS) which allows applications written in Z++ to run locally. * Self-contained means it does not make system calls to any operating system * It is entirely written in the subset of C++, which is standard * Components of a Z++ application can be distributed among heterogeneous nodes * Autonomous Agents with strong mobility are directly supported * The Z47 Processor is about 500K for all platforms
