Brass is a "dynamic Windows enhancement tool". Sure, you've probably seen other programs that say they're plugin enhancer tools, so you might be wondering what makes Brass so powerful... Unlike other tools, Brass doesn't just put fancy displays on your desktop (although it's very good at doing that!). Brass can work with Windows and other applications at an internal level far deeper than any other tool. Brass is a system enhancer, not just a desktop enhancer! Ever wanted to skin your task bar so that it has a bitmap background? Brass can do it. How about displaying your Outlook data and getting new email notifications, without even loading Outlook? Brass can do that too. Want to have an RSS news feed directly from a website displayed on your desktop? Yep, Brass can do it. Maybe you'd like a quick-launch panel that slides down from the top of your screen? Of course Brass can do it! How about adding mouse gestures to any application you use, so you can control it with a flick of your wrist? You guessed it, Brass does it again. Brass doesn't use any slow and bloated scripting languages like HTML, Javascript or XML - they're just not designed for desktop applications.
