Add2Exchange for Contacts is an Exchange add-on, synchronization solution which synchronizes any combination of Outlook private (mailbox) and/or public (group) contact folders. Add2Exchange also enables users to view their private/public Outlook contacts on any PDA, Pocket PC, BlackBerry or Smartphone.

Add2Exchange for Contacts is an Outlook contact synchronization solution which can replicate and synchronize Outlook contacts between private and public folders. With Add2Exchange for Contacts, your business can easily share the Outlook contacts which you designate by setting up relationships between contact folders during installation.

With Add2Exchange for Contacts, users can sync their Public contacts down to Outlook on any PDA, Smartphone, Blackberry, Pocket PC, IPAQ, Palm and other handheld devices. Add2Exchange is also great for organizations who want a public contact folder automatically populated with private contacts. When users create contacts, your business can manage, update or edit those Outlook contacts and replicate the changes back to users contact records. Add2Exchange can also help you to prevent accidental or malicious deletion of valuable leads or client contact information by syncing your employees private contacts to a public (group) contacts folder. In addition, users can share contacts with other users for team projects.

Handles recurring events without having to set the prior date to the first master occurrence of the item, and does individual event changes.
Optimization for PDA use: Enhanced synchronization program to track the changes of the Source item without updating all items and still maintaining sync with the Data Repository.
Add2Exchange offers flexible settings for each relationship when creating a two-way relationship. Now, the Add2Exchange relationship wizard does not assume that the second (of the 2-way) relationship’s settings are the same as the first relationship and offers the ability to select the second relationship’s settings as a separate option.
Replicate Outlook reminders from the source folder to the destination folder – once the reminders are dismissed in the destination, you can choose not to remind again.
Place Auto Population Text “:” before or after a synchronized Calendar or Task item Subject or Contact File As.
Select Auto Population Text “:” specific to each relationship.
Recopy deleted items from the Source to the Destination folder. The new copy of the item in the Destination folder will then be tied to the Source during the synchronization process.
Add2Exchange now works in Operating Systems with Non-US OS’ regional settings.
If an item is marked private after it replicates to the destination (the item is subsequently marked private) and the relationship option is set not to copy private items, Add2Exchange will now remove the destination item(s).
Free Confidentiality Module. If users want to determine what gets copied to destination for a relationship, they can specify a user definable character to signify which items get copied to simply block out the time slot. For example, if you have a personal appointment and you do not want the details replicated to the public calendar but you do want everyone to know that you are unavailable, you can place a user definable character such as (*) in the subject line of the appointment and have that time blocked out as unavailable on the public calendar.
Upgrade the number of relationships for any licensed module.
Works better than Add2Outlook because there is less WAN and LAN traffic, no user interaction and will not collide with other relationships that are synching.

When you set up Add2Exchange, you can create synchronous Outlook relationships, such as:
From each PRIVATE to one or many PUBLIC, and/or
From each PUBLIC to one or many PRIVATE, and/or
From each PUBLIC to one or many PUBLIC, and/or
From each PRIVATE to one or many PRIVATE.
Once the relationships are established, you can:
- Create a new item in any folder and it will be duplicated to all “related” folders.
- Change an existing item in any folder and it will change the duplicate(s) in all “related” folders.
Build as many calendar, contact &/or task folder relationships as you like. Add2Exchange is licensed based on the number of folder relationships needed by the user. We offer licenses for 3,6,10, 20, 50, 100, and unlimited folder relationships (per 1 EOU). Add2Exchange is licensed separately for calendars, contacts, and tasks.
Settings are specific to each folder relationship
Each unique source folder can be set to synchronize with a different destination folder of the same type (Calendar, Contact, Task)
Enhances Outlook's Invite Attendees by tallying those who Accept to the appropriate public calendar(s).
For mobility considerations: Works with any PDA, Pocket PC, BlackBerry handheld, Treo Smartphone, Outlook Web Access and OST files. Now public or shared appointments, contacts, and tasks can duplicate to your private mailbox, so they can be synchronized to your PDA; and from your PDA to your private, and back to a public or shared folder; if you configure it accordingly.
When installing Add2Exchange™, you may choose to synchronize existing appointments, contacts & tasks in users’ folders by:
- only synchronizing non-private items;
- synchronizing all items regardless of private status;
- marking existing items private and then synchronizing; or
- marking existing items private and then not synchronizing
