PCTuneUp Free EXE Lock is a powerful yet easy to use system utility that enables you to lock any Windows executable applications in few steps, like games, web browsers, tax preparation software, etc. It is designed for people who want to protect their sensitive programs from an unauthorized usage whenever sharing the same computer with others. The locked files will stay protected even when you copy them to another computer whatever operating system this computer runs - only accessible to the one who enters the correct passwords.

This professional free application lock provides double privacy protection. It manages to password protect any other executable programs as well as be added passwords to itself, thus there is no possibility for others to try to run or uninstall it without your permission, let alone fully launching your protected applications.

PCTuneUp Free EXE Lock provides ability to create a backup of the applications before lockup. This function helps save you from the troubles you may have in case you forget the correct passwords or any error occurs to the original file though there is little chance to have an error. A spare application does no harm.

This free application locker provides users with two encryption modes: Speed priority mode and Security priority mode. The former provides faster speed while the latter is much more secured with compressed available. You can just choose either one of them as you want.

You may have scores of applications to be locked with this efficient program locker but find it a waste of time to launch he freeware over and over. It's not a big deal. There is an easier way to launch it directly by adding the item "Encrypt with PCTuneUp Free EXE Lock" into Right-click menu.
