XHDBench is a Qt-based X-program for testing the output speed of several devices (hard disks, CD-ROMs, floppy drives) and the interaction between them. We wanted to create a graphic Linux tool similar to the Adaptec Benchmark for windows but not restricted to Adaptec managed devices. We don't want to make a better bonnie, because bonnie calculates the speed of a filesystem. We want to immediately see the speed of a device and the interaction of the devices.
