thrulay-ng is a network capacity tester based on thrulay 0.6. It consists of a client (thrulay) and a server (thrulayd) between which measurement takes place. Simply start thrulayd at the machine which should act as a server: Features TCP test: multi-stream support, statistics (throughput, minimum/average/maximum RTT) UDP test: send fine-grained Poisson test stream, statistics (quantiles, duplication, packet loss, reordering) Portable: runs on Linux, BSD (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD), Mac OS X and Solaris Client authentication based on netmasks Uses faster gettimeofday() implementations if available IPv6 support
