ACE RADIUS library is open-source implementation of RADIUS protocol as defined in RFC 2865 and 2866. The project is mainly targeted for developers and provides a highly portable and very efficient RADIUS stack that may be used in a wide range of products - from RADIUS servers to VoIP phones. BSD license enables use of the library both in open-source and commercial products. Features The following features distinguish ACE RADIUS library from other similar projects: full RFC 2865 and 2866 compliancy clear and simple C++ API both client and server protocol sides are implemented multiple RADIUS server connections are supported by client stack (for high-availability) multiple stacks may be created within the same application multi-platform support: Linux Solaris any other POSIX-compliant platform very high performance - ACE RADIUS library is almost 3 times faster than RADIUS stack developed by VOVIDA project very small memory footprint - up to 10 times smaller than VOVIDA's stack BSD license - allows use of the library both in open-source and commercial projects
