TITAN LEV (Linux Extended Version) is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu OS. It has an user interface customized for Windows XP users and for Mac/OS users. TITAN LEV is a combination of operating system and a selected suite of applications designed to meet the needs of most PC users that have prior Windows experience at an affordable price. The Operating System enables you to use a PC with low-end processor and low energy consumption coupled with economical memory and still run fifteen applications simultaneously. The operating system installed is compatible with a Windows XP user interface and is called TITAN LEV (Linux Extended Version). This is a special version of Linux, which is based on Ubuntu 9.04. After extensive research, we selected the software applications that provide the best response to our clients' needs.<br /><br />The entire TITAN LEV package is available as a stand alone, or pre-installed on TITAN computers. Our research lab has tested, adapted and installed the most suitable hardware components that bring you the most cost effective PC package. We bring you an out of the box plug-and-play solution and all you need to do is install the system, connect it to the network network and start using it for all your PC tasks. The installed software programs are all royalty free, and include an unlimited automatic update mechanism, at no extra cost, to ensure you are always using the latest version of any software program.<br /><br />TITAN LEV is a convenient and economical combination of an Operating System that performs like Microsoft Windows but requires only 25% of the memory and CPU resources necessary to run Windows Vista and a software suite that enables the execution of all the applications commonly used on a PC. This means that our computer requires only one quarter the computing resources required by a computer running Windows Vista and achieve higher performance!<br /><br />The emphasis of TITAN LEV is on affordability and Windows compatibility. To achieve full compatibility with Windows, TITAN LEV includes applications that until now were not available in a Linux environment, such as Internet Explorer and a sophisticated system for file and printer sharing with Windows computers. In order to provide full compatibility with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications, TITAN LEV includes a unique program that enables you to install MS Office and Adobe photoshop on a Linux PC.<br /><br />The pre-installed software packages were developed to suit both Home and Office environments and include Internet, office, graphics, multimedia, security, education and games.<br /><br />Limitations:<br /><br />?*A* When installing TITAN LEV on a machine which is not registered with Affordy you can start the machine only 16 times.
