Linaro GCC is a branch of FSF GCC that contains ARM focused features and patches. It also features parts of the CodeSourcery patchset. This project contains backports of work that we and the community have done to improve GCC on ARM. Releases are made monthly and consist of a source release that is a drop-in replacement for FSF GCC. You can then configure and build the source release for your particular use. See: http://gcc.gnu.org/install/ for more. Want native binaries? The GCC package in Ubuntu Maverick and later already includes the Linaro changes. Want a cross compiler? Try installing the gcc-arm-linux-gnueabi package.
