PyGtkGLExt is Python language bindings for the GtkGLExt OpenGL extension to GTK. GtkGLExt is an OpenGL extension to GTK+. It provides additional GDK objects which support OpenGL rendering in GTK+ and GtkWidget API add-ons to make GTK+ widgets OpenGL-capable. In contrast to Janne L?*A*f's GtkGLArea, GtkGLExt provides a GtkWidget API that enables OpenGL drawing for standard and custom GTK+ widgets. Like GTK+ itself, GtkGLExt is licensed under the GNU LGPL 2.1. GtkGLExt has a mature API used in many projects to satisfy the need for GTK+ and OpenGL integration. Installation: To build and install PyGtkGLExt, you can use Python Distutils based setup.py script or GNU auto-tools based configure script. * Python Distutils python setup.py install (--prefix=/foo/bar) * configure script ./configure --prefix=/foo/bar (other options...) make (or gmake) make install Please read INSTALL or type "./configure --help" for more details
