Strata40 is a Firefox theme that aims to give the user an interface as close to the new Firefox 4 mockups as possible. Please continue reading the description so that you know what add-ons should be used with this theme to get the ultimate Firefox 4 experience.<br /><br />Bugs<br /><br />Please do NOT post bugs in your reviews. Bugs should be reported here: http://spewboy.deviantart.com/art/Strata40-v0-5-1-132191373 or emailed to me. Make sure the bug is because of Strata40 and not StrataGlass or any other "companion" add-ons to this theme.<br /><br />Updating<br /><br />If you updated from an earlier version of Strata40, please check that you have the latest versions of the required add-ons, or you may have problems. Reviews will be reported if you have given a bad rating because you have failed to comply with this.<br /><br />Required Add-ons<br /><br />Below is a list of add-ons required to get Strata40 running at it's best:<br /><br />- StrataBuddy (essential for all Strata40 users, replaces Personal Menu's functions)<br />https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14762<br /><br />- StrataGlass (used by Windows 7 and Vista users to get aero effects. Not for XP users)<br />https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14288<br /><br />- Fission (essential for address bar progress line feature)<br />https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1951<br /><br />- Tab Progress Bar (essential for tab progress lines)<br />https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14644<br /><br />Recommended Add-ons<br /><br />Below are the add-ons that work well with this theme and can be used with the add-ons above to make your browsing experience even more enjoyable:<br /><br />- Omnibar<br />- Hide Menubar (for Firefox 3.5.x users only)<br />- Download statusbar<br /><br />Incompatibilities<br /><br />Please note that the following add-ons are not compatible with Strata40:<br />- Tab Mix Plus<br />- Developer toolbar<br />- Personal Menu (is compatible but is no longer supported. Use StrataBuddy instead)<br /><br />Tabs on Top<br /><br />If you would like tabs on top, simply open up your StrataBuddy preferences and navigate to the tabs pane and select "tabs on top". Restart Firefox and viola! You have tabs on top.
